Aaron Ramsey was the hero of the day as Juventus beat Sassuolo 2-1 on Sunday evening.
Scorers: Danilo 50′, Ramsey 82′, Ronaldo 90′; Defrel 58′
A relatively dull first half was livened up right on the half time whistle when Pedro Obian was shown a red card.
The former Wes Ham man was given his marching orders after a late challenge on Federico Chiesa but Andrea Pirlo’s side struggled to take advantage of the extra man.
But eventually that advantage did come as Danilo opened the scoring with a beautiful first time effort from 25 yards.
That lead though, didn’t last long as Defrel equalised soon after with his own impressive finish for the visitors.
The reigning champions however got their act together in the final 10 minutes and found their winner through substitute Aaron Ramsey.
Cristiano Ronaldo put a cap on the performance in stoppage time to take the Old Lady up into fourth place.
