Liverpool are ready to assure Virgil van Dijk of his place in the club’s plans.
The defender is currently recovering from ACL knee surgery and isn’t expected to play this season.
Contracted to the Reds until 2023, Van Dijk will soon be approached by management about opening talks about a new contract.
On his There We Go podcast, Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed the Reds’ plans to extend Van Dijk’s deal.
Romano also states that along with Van Dijk, Liverpool’s board have in mind to offer Fabinho new terms.
